In addition to our on-site laboratory, digital radiography, endoscopy, and ultrasonography, we have various other diagnostic equipment available at our clinic to provide your pet with accurate and timely test results. These tools, which include blood pressure, pulse oximetry, and tonometry capabilities, allow our veterinarians to provide your pet with a more comprehensive evaluation and institute treatment accordingly. We also have veterinary specialists available for telephone consultation and are familiar with several referral locations if further testing and treatment are deemed necessary.

Laboratory

Our clinic is fully equipped with on-site laboratory equipment to aid in diagnosing your pet as quickly and accurately as possible. With these results available so rapidly, we are able to
immediately institute treatment for our sick patients. We also utilize full service outside veterinary laboratories for more advanced diagnostics and preventative monitoring.

Digital Radiology

Radiographs or x-rays are an important diagnostic aid. At Teegarden Veterinary Clinic, we use state of the art digital x-rays to evaluate skeletal, dental, cardiopulmonary, gastrointestinal, internal organ, and urinary systems. Digital radiographs allow our veterinarians to see better detail and the images are available quickly. We can also easily submit radiographs to specialists for additional interpretation.

Ultrasonography

Ultrasonography is a very useful and non-invasive tool in diagnostics. It can be used to evaluate the abdominal organs, such as the liver, spleen, stomach, gallbladder, intestines, kidneys, and urinary bladder. Additionally, pregnancy examinations can be performed with an ultrasound. All of our veterinarians have received hands-on training in ultrasonography. We can also submit images from your pet’s ultrasound to a specialist for review.
