DR. MICHAEL P. THOMAS
Dr. Thomas graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1974. His first place of employment was Tazewood Veterinary Clinic, now Teegarden Veterinary Clinic.
In 1979, Dr. Thomas left the clinic to join Dr. David Lott in partnership at Tremont Veterinary Clinic. He returned to Teegarden Veterinary Clinic in 1989, when he and Dr. Lott purchased the business from Dr. H.R. Teegarden. Dr. Thomas and Dr. Lott dissolved their partnership in 2004, leaving Dr. Thomas as sole owner of Teegarden Veterinary Clinic.
Dr. Thomas is a member of numerous veterinary professional organizations and civic organizations in his local community. He enjoys family activities, raising and showing American Saddlebred horses, golfing, Bible study, and traveling.

Dr. Jacqueline Reed
Dr. Reed graduated from the University of Illinois at
Springfield Capital Scholars Honors Program with a
Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2006 and from
University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011.
Her first place of employment as a veterinarian is Teegarden
Veterinary Clinic. She is very excited to meet members of
the community and their pets.
In her spare time, Dr. Reed enjoys spending time with her
husband, Don, and her family, watching Cardinals baseball,
gardening,
playing sports, and outdoor activities. She has two
cats, Kit - a Maine Coon, and Mason - a domestic
short hair.
